The main concept is fine, but there are a few things that seem iffy to me. The right leg, for example, you may want to extend it further. It's in the foreground, compared to the left leg, but the way it is now, it makes his legs look uneven. The left hand also needs to be drawn differently, I think. Looking at just the hand, it looks like the character's flexing his wrists towards you, which is fine, even if it hurt me a little imitating it the pose as is, but the arm doesn't reflect that. The arm, as it is, implies a raised fist, not one pointing towards you.

Also, the skin color seems purple-y to me. I think that it would be a good idea to play with the colors, not just for the skin, but for the character's clothing and eyes as well. Even if you ultimately stay with the color choices you have made already, it may help you see the character in new, more interesting lights.

Those were the only things I can see iffy at the moment. I hope all of this is helpful in some way. I'm not necessarily the best when it comes to critiques...
